More than 20 pints of blood were collected in a blood donation drive yesterday, organised by the Youth Centre in the Temburong District in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital.
The campaign, which ran from 9am to noon, was aimed at replenishing the supply at the national blood bank.
Stringent rules were in place throughout the donation drive in line with the advice and recommendations from the Ministry of Health (MoH) in containing the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
The event was part of the Youth Centre’s efforts in raising the communal spirit by contributing to a good cause.
