Driving schools will be allowed to increase student capacity from 30 per cent to 60 per cent as part of the country’s Level 2 de-escalation plan.
Measures are also being taken to ensure the lessons comply with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health (MoH).
Redza Driving School founder Hajah Khamsiah binti Haji Adenan said as part of the school’s initiative, theory lessons were conducted online via the Zoom application, while students with no Internet access were allowed to attend the class.
“Social distancing, hand sanitisers and temperature scanning are also in place,” she said.
Students are advised to download and register for the BruHealth app prior to entering the premises and to fill in a declaration form, and those with signs of infection are barred from attending classes.
