Brunei Darussalam continued its streak of no new COVID-19 cases yesterday keeping the national tally of confirmed cases at 141.
No one is undergoing quarantine in the country.
Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar made these comments during a press conference at Al-‘Afiah Hall yesterday.
“Alhamdulillah, with the grace of Allah the Almighty, there is no new COVID-19 case in the country,” said the minister.
He said all contacts numbering 2,823 individuals have completed quarantine in accordance with the Infectious Diseases Act (Chapter 204).
The minister also said 103 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 26,571.
On the latest figures of the BruHealth app, Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham said, “Alhamdulillah, 396,773 individuals and 10,257 companies and premises have registered.”
Breakdown of businesses and premises registered for the BruHealth app shows 1,701 restaurants, 674 schools, 1,586 retail shops, 1,294 offices, 619 government premises, 364 food stalls, 188 gyms, 594 barbers/salons, 159 car workshops, 71 shopping complexes, 119 health centres and clinics, 61 recreational clubs, 49 places of interest, 103 supermarkets, 37 markets, 16 indoor playgrounds, 11 golf courses, 23 places of worship, eight cinemas, 276 hospitals, 310 takeouts, 42 taxis, 12 petrol stations, 132 darts, nine nursery and day care centres, 168 mosques and suraus, 11 Internet cafés, 61 buses as well as 1,559 others.
Meanwhile, 5,576 have downloaded the PremiseScan application which include 4,152 business premises.

In its breakdown of COVID-19 cases in the country, healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there were 110 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 25 in the Belait District and six in the
Tutong District.
