HIS Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik was in Singapore yesterday for the 4th day of a goodwill visit.
During the morning session, His Royal Highness had a meeting with Dato Paduka Seri Ng Chee Meng, Acting Minister of Education (Schools) and Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Transport, at Singapore’s Ministry of Education.
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Acting Minister for Education (Schools) and Lam Yi Young, Deputy Secretary (Policy), Ministry of Education.
Meanwhile, His Royal Highness and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Raabi’atul ‘Adawiyyah binti Pengiran Haji Bolkiah joined Josephine Teo, Senior Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Transport, for a morning walk at the Gardens by the Bay.
In the afternoon session, His Royal Highness visited SPRING – an agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry responsible for helping Singapore enterprises grow and building trust in Singapore products and services – and was greeted upon arrival by Ted Tan, Deputy Chief Executive of SPRING.
His Royal Highness then took a tour of the various start-up companies and facilities at the agency.
This was then followed by a visit to the Economic Development Board of Singapore where His Royal Highness was greeted upon arrival by Koh Jin Hoe, President of the Asean, South Asia, Middle East and Oceania Operations, Economic Development Board of Singapore.
His Royal Highness was then given a briefing on the history and background on the development of Singapore’s economy.
