HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon received in audience Takehiko Nakao, President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) who is currently on a working visit to Brunei Darussalam.
Accompanying Takehiko Nakao were James Nugent, Director General of the Southeast Asia Department, ADB; and Rokiah binti Haji Badar, Alternate Executive Director of the ADB Constituency representing Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Singapore and Thailand.
Also present at the audience ceremony were Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance II; Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Permanent Secretary (Law and Welfare) at the Prime Minister’s Office; and Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Permanent Secretary (Management and International) at the Ministry of Finance.
The audience ceremony took place at the Istana Nurul Iman.
