The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a handover ceremony between incoming Commander Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim and his predecessor Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat at Punai Hall of the Rimba Air Force Base yesterday.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by a speech from the outgoing commander of the RBAirF. The signing of the handing over certificate and the handing over of the ‘Pilot Cyclic’ between Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah and Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif marked the official transfer of leadership and command of the RBAirF.
As the newly appointed Commander of the RBAirF, Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif delivered his inaugural speech as the 15th Commander of the RBAirF during the ceremony.
Also present were Deputy Commander of the RBAirF, senior officers, officers, Air Force Sergeant Major and RBAirF personnel.
The ceremony concluded with a closing Doa led by Officer from RBAF Religious Department (JAMA’AT) Lieutenant (U) Haji Muhd Syasuandi bin Haji Abu Bakar.
