The Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei (IEAT) donated 2,400 face masks to the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Brunei Darussalam (NCCIBD) recently, as a mark of friendship and determination to join the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
On behalf of IEAT, Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Brunei Darussalam Andrew Lee presented the masks to NCCIBD Executive Director Haji Mohammad Hanafi bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Abdul Rahman.
ASEAN Food and Beverage Alliance (AFBA) President and NCCIBD Deputy Secretary-General Haji Abdul Halim bin Saim was also present.
This is the second batch of masks contributed by IEAT to a Brunei industry, following the first one donated to the Chinese Chamber of Commerce Bandar Seri Begawan (CCC BSB) on September 2.
