Members of the public who are sending off passengers of tomorrow’s BI003 flight to London, United Kingdom (UK) are reminded to use the ‘drop-off’ procedure, said Department of Civil Aviation (DCA).
In reference to its media release on ‘Preventive Actions in Controlling COVID-19 Outbreaks at Brunei International Airport (LTAB)’ on June 18, the agency, under the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC) added that “students who are travelling to London, UK on September 14 are required to check in” at the counters today from 7-10pm.
“Students are advised to adhere to the advice given by the Ministry of Education (MoE) on the departure procedures,” said the DCA, adding that passengers joining the flight to London are also encouraged to check in early.
Members of the public, who use the services at LTAB are urged to comply with the regulations and directives issued by the Ministry of Health (MoH) by exercising social responsibilities in line with the preventive measures amid the COVID-19 pandemic, such as physical distancing.
The public is also required to scan the BruHealth app QR code when entering and exiting the airport, as well as update their health status through the app while complying with the requirements provided before using the services and facilities at LTAB.
