Hajah Rosnani binti Haji Hashim opted to drive home in a brand new Hyundai Verna as the grand prize winner of the ‘Travel & Win A Car or Birkin’ by Pan Bright Travel yesterday. She followed in the footsteps of the past five grand prize winners.
Singaporean Hajah Rosnani, 56, who has been in Brunei for 36 years and works with Royal Brunei Airlines (RB), expressed jubilation for the unexpected surprise.
Explaining that her children had bought her a car as a birthday gift on February 18 this year, she said the Hyundai Verna can be used by her children.
Pan Bright Travel Service General Manager Johnnie Cheong awarded prizes to the top 15 winners of the grand draw during a ceremony at Times Square Shopping Centre in Berakas.
Meanwhile, second place winner Kahar Hassan was over the moon to be able to pick up the keys to a Hyundai i10, a new addition to the prize list. Both vehicles were sponsored by Pan Bright Travel.

Other prizes included return air tickets to Dubai, Tokyo, Taipei and Kuching sponsored by RB; return air tickets to Istanbul, Maldives, Osaka and Singapore sponsored by Singapore Airlines; and two prizes of 50,000 Royal Skies Miles sponsored by Baiduri Bank Berhad.
Tourism Malaysia Brunei supported with the prizes of a 3D/2N package for two to Kuala Lumpur and to Kota Kinabalu. This includes a four-star hotel with daily breakfast. All prizes can be redeemed for travel to commence next year.
RB Senior Vice President (Sales) Ng Ai Ling and Singapore Airlines Acting General Manager (Brunei) Alfian Rahim presented the tickets to the winners. Baiduri Bank Head, Card Business, Retail Banking Division Davern Lim presented the 50,000 Royal Skies Miles prize to the two winners, while Tourism Malaysia Brunei Director Haji Ibrahim Seddiqi bin Talib presented the prizes for the Malaysian packages.
Representatives from RB, Baiduri Bank, Tourism Malaysia Brunei as well as the public attended the event.
