Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Laksamana College of Business (LCB) for RB to provide local aviation management experts to supplement LCB’s Airline Hospitality Business Training programme.

The signatories were RB Acting CEO Nurbahriah Eliza binti Abdullah and LCB Chief Operating Officer S Sivarajah, witnessed by RB Training and Development Manager Noorshikin binti Haji Badaruddin and LCB and Abdul Razak Holdings Director Haji Awang Suhaimei bin Haji Besar, at the RB Campus yesterday.

LCB introduced the Airline Hospitality Business Training in September to attract international students to Brunei. The programme will produce highly skilled and employable graduates meeting industry expectations and world class standards.

With the partnership, Training Check Instructor Nur’Izzah binti Abdullah Ong Pei and Guest Experience and Delivery Manager Hajah Nurul Amal Amni Athirah binti Muntassir will be giving lectures on ground services, in-flight services and airline management.

Sivarajah said the training programme was developed with the strong belief of attracting international students to Brunei while providing a conducive and safe environment.

“Adding RB routes to Seoul and Tokyo has created an excellent synergy for us to attract students from the East Asian market. We are privileged and proud to work with RB on this training programme,” he said.
