Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) retirees were feted at an appreciation ceremony at Tarindak D’Seni, Jalan Residency on Saturday.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman presented certificates of retirement to 104 retired officers and staff for their dedication and services.
Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Permanent Secretary at the MoRA Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religious) at the MoRA Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang and senior MoRA officers also attended.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and ended with the recitation of Doa Selamat and Sayyidul Istighfar by Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque Imam Khairul Ariffin bin Haji Yusop.
