The International Women’s Club of Brunei Darussalam (IWCB) held its 32nd anniversary with a hi-tea at the Mutiara Ballroom of the Radisson Hotel in Bandar Seri Begawan on Sunday.
The polka dot-themed event was attended by 100 guests.
Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam Yoon Hyun-bong; High Commissioner of Australia to Brunei Darussalam Tiffany McDonald; Tuti Suwidjiningsih, spouse of the British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam; Hnin Hnin Ko, spouse of the Ambassador of the Republic of Myanmar to Brunei Darussalam; Dr Jana Heilmaier, spouse of the Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Germany in Brunei Darussalam; and Radisson Hotel Director of Sales Paula Munoz attended.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by a welcoming address by IWCB President Ungku Datin Hajjah Fanzah binti Haji Osman. The event also saw the cutting of a cake, prize presentation for best dressed and a lucky draw.
The IWCB is a non-profit charitable and social organisation set up in 1988. Its objectives are to promote the development of social, charitable and cultural activities and foster friendship among local and expatriate communities.
