A total of 40 youth of Kampong Masin Mosque led by Mosque Affairs Officer Jeffry bin Haji Metassim visited the Adat Istiadat Negara Department recently.
Adat Istiadat Officer Md Zaizul bin Haji Md Daud briefed the delegation on customs and traditions including Terasul, while Research Officer Md Zaim bin Mahmud explained the role of the Lapau ceremonial building.
The delegation also visited the department’s old building, located next to the customs department.
The visit was aimed at providing the youth with knowledge on the department’s functions and duties as well as insights into Brunei’s customs and traditions.
