Brunei Darussalam National Badminton Association’s (BDNBA) member Janey Koh (pic below, BDNBA) will join the Badminton World Federation-World Academy of Sport (BWF-WAoS) Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in International Sport Management Scholarship Programme 2020.
The half-funded scholarship will be conducted online by the WAoS and the University of London, the association announced yesterday.
The BDNBA hopes that members will be able to learn new skills boosting their career pathways and enhance the progress of badminton in Brunei Darussalam.
Last October, the BWF announced the scholarship programme providing dual career athletes, who have chosen a joint educational and elite sporting life.
The postgraduate certificate brings a globally recognised, academically sound and industry focussed qualification.
The association recently promoted capacity building in badminton following the completion of the BWF Level 1 Coaching Education last November.
