THE Ministry of Finance (MoF) and its departments and divisions yesterday held a Korban ceremony to mark Hari Raya Aidiladha at the Theatre Hall of the ministry’s building at Commonwealth Drive in Berakas.
Attending as the guest of honour was Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hisham bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Deputy Minister of Finance.
Also present were permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretary, heads of department and division, as well as and officers and staff of the ministry.
With the assistance of the Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB) and the Community Development Department (JAPEM), 35 recipients were chosen to receive the Korban meat.

The ceremony is an annual activity of the ministry and its departments and divisions and is held to foster good relationships among the officers and staff.
This year’s ceremony was organised by the Treasury Department.
