Certificates of appreciation for BASMIDA members, volunteers

THE National Anti – Drug Association (BASMIDA) yesterday presented certificates of appreciation during a ceremony to its executive and working committee members as well as volunteers for the success of the recent BASMIDA seminar themed ‘Prevention of Misuse of Drugs through Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB) Values’.

The ceremony took place at the Aneka Rasa Restaurant in Kiulap. The event was attended by chief guest President of BASMIDA, Datin Hajah Masni binti Haji Mohammad Ali, who presented the certificates to the members.

Deputy Co-Chairlady of BASMIDA, Hajah Linda Aini binti Abdullah, in her welcoming speech hoped that members of the working committee, volunteers and members of BASMIDA will continue to support BASMIDA while also contributing their energy and devotion with sincerity to uphold the name of association.

She said that the success of the seminar is the result of the hard work and tireless efforts of all members and volunteers.

The success could not have been achieved without the cooperation and commitment of all members and volunteers, she added.

She said all members should always remember that teamwork is very important among the members in an organisation in order to achieve the desired objectives.

“We need to be positive because each charity is our contribution towards the nation, especially towards the effort to prevent the misuse of drugs,” she added.
