IT WAS a fun night of celebration for 62 Bright Jigsaw International School (BJIS) students who received academic and graduation certificates during their annual School Graduation and Recognition Night ceremony that took place recently at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas.
The event, carrying the theme of ‘Onwards to Excellence’, was attended by the Acting Senior Special Duties Officer/Head of Private Education Section, Ministry of Education (MoE), Hajah Noridah binti Abdullah.
In her speech, she congratulated the educators and staff members for providing quality education to the students who she further advised to become more motivated in their studies and grab the golden opportunities given to them.
The ceremony then continued with performances by the students from KG 1 to Year 6 who wore colourful costumes as they danced onstage.
The event also saw the guest of honour presenting donation cheques, collected through school activities, to the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans (DANA).
The donations were received by Yayasan’s Assistant Managing Director, Haji Puasa bin
Haji Jumat, and on behalf of Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam, the Policy and Planning Trustee, Haji Ahmad bin Haji Abdul Rahman.
