THE Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD) has taken proactive steps to establish a humanitarian aid movement through its ‘Messenger of Peace’ initiative, in hopes of raising awareness and to help alleviate the hardships of the Kampong Pandai Besi ‘A’ and Kampong Lurong Dalam fire victims.
According to Executive Scout Officer Zainudin bin Haji Ishak, the association has collected aid in the form of basic daily necessities such as food, drinks and shower equipment, as well as clothing, through donations from families of Scouts members and the public.
The handover of donated goods will be held on December 17.
