BRUNEI-INDONESIAN pop band, Andromeda, is making a come-back to the entertainment scene with the release of their latest single ‘Only for You’.

Andromeda originally consisted of four members – lead singer Calvin Chong, Gordino, Jason and Anson. The band was formed in late 2012 and appeared on several television shows across the region after the success of their debut single, ‘Tertipu,’ which was written in collaboration with Nash, Warner Music Indonesia and Positif Art Artist Management.

In late 2014, Anson left the group to manage his family’s business affairs, while Calvin went on to perform as a solo artiste in 2015.

Calvin penned the latest single after his recent reunion with Gordino and Jason in Jakarta, under a new management.

The remaining members of the pop outfit are working towards promoting the new single in Indonesia for the upcoming year of 2017.

The song will receive an exclusive airing on local radio today, and will also be available in digital stores such as iTunes and Spotify.

Calvin Chong said of their new single, “I was supposed to write another upbeat track, but decided on a slow song instead, since we already had a previous track with an upbeat tempo.”

On Andromeda’s current composition, he said, “The group never disbanded, but we are just not active as before, being busy with our own personal commitments. Now with a new management, hopefully things will go well.”
