THE descendants of the late Haji Mohd Salleh and the late Hajah Azizah recently met for a family reunion for the first time in many years, at Muara Beach.
The extended family, originally from Kampong Saba Tengah and Kampong Saba Ujong in Kampong Ayer, made efforts to organise the outing on the advice of the late Haji Mohd Salleh, who used to tell them, “Mutual support and cooperation brings blessings to everyone”.
One of the main highlights of the event was a colouring contest on the topic of ‘Keeping the environment clean’, and everyone was encouraged to come up with their own captions on how to keep the surroundings free from litter.
