THE Brunei Four Wheel Drive Association (PKTLB) organised a first-ever 4WD Driving Skill Test Challenge yesterday at Kampong Biong, Jalan Rambai in Tutong.
Present as guest of honour was Shamsul Bahrin bin Haji Mohd Hussain, Tutong District Officer.
The event was divided into three categories – Open Standard; Amateur; and Team Relay.
Twenty contestants competed in the Open Standard category, 14 contestants participated in the Amateur category, and six teams took part in the Team Relay category.
Mohd Usslyzam bin Budin was named champion othe Open Standard category.
Ngui Chan Loong emerged as the winner of the Amateur category while the Haji Jamahat Team won the Team Relay Category. The Best Crew Award was awarded to Rodiano bin Rajab.
The event aimed to forge stronger ties among 4WD fans and promote the importance of safety while handling 4WD vehicles.
It also sought to support the local tourism industry.
