JOY and excitement filled the air in Kg Kiudang yesterday as the village celebrated the start of its first-ever Kiudang Festival. The aim of the event was to boost the village’s tourism industry with its many attractions and bring together the community for a joyful occasion with lots of activities.

The event, which carried the theme ‘happiness starts here’, is being held at Kawasan Gerai Muafakat Kg Kiudang in Mukim Kiudang in the Tutong District. The festival’s official opening will be held today.

The event is being co-organised by the Tutong District Tourism Facilitation and Coordination Body and Kg Kiudang Village Consultative Council (MPK).

At the event, visitors have the opportunity to obtain visitor ‘kampungku’ (my village) tour packages that include visits to the 3MPK Herbal Tea Processing Centre and Galeri Ariffin Cultural Gallery.
