SOME 40 mosque officers in the Tutong District are taking part in a workshop to enhance knowledge and quality as well as to reach the level of ‘Imam Mualim’.
The four-week workshop for Imams and Bilals commenced yesterday at the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong.
The workshop is organised by the Training and Guidance Unit, Department of Mosque Affairs, in collaboration with the Tutong District Mosque Affairs Department.
According to Imam Haji Masri bin Haji Mohammad, the Tutong District’s Acting Head Religious Officer, the workshop is an intensive course that is conducted by Ustaz Haji Abdul Tahman bin Malik and Ustaz Haji Sahri bin Haji Sulaiman.
