“I am impressed with the achievement in the Men’s Sabre Team and Women’s Foil Team because I saw the weaknesses of their opponents and they followed my instructions well.

“I am happy for all the support received and for the prayers of parents of the participants.

“We have one day left and I hope the fencers will achieve another victory tomorrow.

“Due to the effort made by our fencers, who made use of the knowledge they were taught, I think they will be able to achieve greatness.

“Brunei has plenty of young fencers who have a lot of potential, and with the support from the government, we will be able to give them exposure and experience of fencing internationally,” he said.
