TWENTY-ONE senior delegates from the Command and Staff College, Ministry of Defence of Saudi Arabia visited the Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies (CSPS) on Thursday, as part of their visit to Brunei Darussalam from January 6-13.
The delegation – headed by Major General (Pilot) Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Shehri, War Wing Commander of the Command and Staff College, Ministry of Defence of Saudi Arabia and assisted by Brigadier General, Mohammed bin Ali Alwahabi – was welcomed by CSPS Executive Director, Haji Mohd Rozan bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos.
The delegation was given a briefing from CSPS Chief Researcher, Dr Diana Cheong, who detailed the activities of the centre, including current and past research studies.
It was followed with CSPS researcher Dr Giuseppe’s explanation of the current economic cluster projects. The briefing continued with CSPS researcher Dr Sophiana Chua introducing the centre’s flagship workshop programmes, namely ‘Strategic Foresight and Strategic Planning’, and the ‘Research Methods and Policy Analysis’.
