A BIG crowd turned up at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex/Indoor Stadium yesterday for the official launching of the Cinta Rasul Carnival organised by Battle Pro Marketing & Management Services (BattleProMMS).
The carnival, which will be held until January 29 was launched by Haji Mohd Noor Jusmin bin Haji Abdul Samad, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS).
Over 40 vendors are taking part in the carnival, which promotes the products of local entrepreneurs, modest clothing, cosmetics and more.

Haji Syed Mohd Yassin bin Haji Syed Anayatullah Shah, the founder of BattleProMMS, said that the carnival will feature Islamic activities that support the efforts of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in making the country a Zikir Nation.
He added that the event therefore also serves as platform for the public to learn more about Islamic teachings.
Among the carnival’s activities include a religious talk on Maulidur Rasul by Ustaz Haji Khairul Nazif bin Haji Damit and a Qasidah performance.
