‘Every Child is a Gift’ roadshow continues

THE Special Education Unit (SEU) at the Ministry of Education (MoE) last Wednesday continued their ‘Every Child is a Gift’ roadshow at Menglait Secondary School which saw the attendance of more than 50 participating parents and guardians.

Present during the event were Mohidin bin Haji Noordin, Chairman of the event in his capacity as the principal of the school.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Ustaz Titiwasdi bin Wahid.

It then continued with a briefing from Dayangku Siti Amal Jariah binti Pengiran Haji Mat Jinen, officer from the Administration and Research Division of SEU, who introduced and shared information of the roles of SEU establishment with the audience.

Among the topics that were highlighted during the roadshow include Assistant Learning Programme, Educ-ation Psychology Services, Speech and Language Therapy Services, Occupational Therapy Services, Dyslexia Intervention Programme, Gifted Education Services and others.

The event then ended with the recitation of Surah Al-‘Asr read by Mohammad Yusri bin Sulaiman.

Also in attendance were Hajah Khadijah binti Haji Mohammad Salleh, Deputy Principal for Administration; Dayangku Nurul Aminatun Farida binti Pengiran Haji Ali, Deputy Principal for Academic; senior teachers, parents and guardians of the students of Menglait Secondary School.
