PERBADANAN Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB) yesterday launched a three-day carnival as a finale for the series of TAIB’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
The carnival taking place at The Airport Mall in Berakas will be held until tomorrow. The launching ceremony was officiated by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, in his capacity as the Chairman of TAIB Board of Directors.
In a welcoming remark, Hajah Noorrafidah binti Sulaiman, the Acting Managing Director of TAIB said, “The TAIB Carnival not only serves as a platform to promote its products and services, it is also an appreciation to TAIB customers for their continuous loyalty and support for the last 25 years.
“A total of 60 SMEs are participating in the carnival as a platform for them to promote their products and services such as Busana Muslim and Muslimah, fashion, foods, travel, real estate and many more,” she added.
The objective of the carnival is to support Brunei Vision 2035 with the highlight further on the importance of education and strengthening family units to gear their customers towards better financial health.
During the three-day carnival, TAIB has arranged various events and activities such as Choral Competition, Financial Amazing Race, Health Talk, Tausyeh performance and others to be enjoyed by families.
The carnival also showcases fun activities and competition for families, TAIB Pavilion, Insurans Islam TAIB Holdings Sdn Bhd (IITHSB), Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd (DHSB) and vendors’ booth, as well as attractive promotions on TAIB products and services exclusive for visitors.
