BANK Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) will be launching its first-ever festive promotion held in partnership with MasterCard, giving its cardholders up to 30 per cent discount in selected merchants during the upcoming holy and festive month.
Announcing the festive promotion that will run from May 22 to June 30, Hajah Nurul Akmar binti Haji Mohd Jaafar, BIBD’s Head of Retail Banking Group during a press conference held at BIBD Headquarters in the capital yesterday shared that the promotion offers BIBD’s MasterCard Debit and Credit cardholders discounts ranging from five per cent to 30 per cent at over 41 selected dining, fashion, lifestyle and supermarket merchants in the country.
On top of this, any spending made on BIBD’s MasterCard Debit and Credit cards on groceries during the month of Ramadhan will entitle the cardholders to Double Hadiah Points.
The BIBD Hadiah Points accumulated can be used to pay for utility bills, donations and air miles to name a few.

On selected days, ( June 2, 10, 12, and 22), BIBD will also be offering 30 per cent off on dining bills at selected merchants for its BIBD MasterCard Credit cardholders.
According to Hajah Nurul, the wide-scale promotion is held in partnership with MasterCard, which offers access to over 26 million merchants worldwide and is part of the bank’s efforts to add more spirit in the holy month by giving their customers big savings for their festive preparations, thus embodying the true community spirit.
BIBD will be announcing the festive promotion through the media and also its social media accounts and mobile app during the promotion period.
