PROMINENT with its finest lined-up combination of traditional and modern Chinese cuisines, Li Gong Restaurant is ready to serve its signature dishes made by award-winning and well-known talented Chef Sun following his partnership with the restaurant.

With the restaurant’s soft launching at The Empire Hotel & Country Club yesterday, it is ready to delight Bruneians with a ‘total dining experience’ and providing ‘something for everyone everyday’.

Guests were served with various selections of Dim Sum delicacies, such as the popular Siew Mai, the Honey Chicken Puff, Roasted Honey Chicken Cheong Fun, Steam Chicken Feet with Barbeque Sauce, Deep Fried Spring Roll and Superior Bean Skin Giplet Prawn.

Signature dishes such as the Binchotan Charcoal Beancurd served with Chef Sun’s signature Butter Custard Sauce and Sweet and Sour Chicken with Fruits in Ice Cube were also served.

In an interview with Chef Sun, the Culinary Consultant and Director of Li Gong Restaurant explained that the restaurant’s concept will represent Chinese culture and cuisine.

Chef Sun underlined that some of the ingredients are difficult to find and must be Halal certified. He also said that it was part of the challenges that need to be faced and is confident in the success of the business.

Chinese food lovers can now enjoy both familiar and new dishes that highlight good local produce and introduces delectable imported offerings, meticulously prepared and well presented in traditional Chinese as well as fusion cooking techniques.

To complement the exquisite food offerings, Li Gong’s new service team will provide a friendly and relaxed level of service, from reception to departure, in a manner befitting that of a fine dining establishment.
