A MASS Maghrib and Isyak prayers in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 71st birthday celebrations were held at the Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque in Kuala Belait.
Belait District Officer Haji Haris bin Othman, who is the Chairman of the Executive Committee organising His Majesty’s 71st birthday celebrations in Belait District, attended the prayers.
The prayers were conducted by Mosque Affairs Officer of the Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque Akup bin Haji Lamat, while Doa Kesyukuran was read by Head Religious Officer at the Islamic Da’wah Centre of Belait District Haji Asminan bin Haji Chuchu.
Also present at the event was the committee members of the Executive Committee organising His Majesty’s 71st birthday celebrations in the Belait District; head of departments in Belait District; heads of primary schools, secondary schools, private schools and institutes; members of mukim and village consultative councils; officers and staff from various businesses in Belait District; and Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque Takmir Committee members.
