Korean delegates meet their foster families

THE 10 Korean delegates who are in the Sultanate to attend the 5th Brunei Darussalam and Republic of Korea Bilateral Youth Exchange Programme 2016 were introduced to their respective foster families yesterday in an event held at the Youth Centre in Bandar Seri Begawan.

The delegates will be in Brunei until May 19 attending various programmes and stay with their foster families for one night.

During their time with their foster families, they will be able to experience the culture, tradition and lifestyle of the locals.

They will also have the chance to try local delicacies as well as attend a Bruneian wedding.

The event yesterday was attended by Pengiran Anak Mohd Sofian bin Pengiran Anak Haji Ibrahim, Acting Deputy Director of Youth and Sports.

The delegation is led by Park Jin Young, an officer from the Ministry of Gender, Equality and Family of the Republic of Korea.
