28 students awarded for PSR excellence

THE Brunei Malay Teachers Association (PGGMB) yesterday held an awards ceremony for PGGMB School students who excelled in the 2017 Primary School Assessment (PSR) exams.

The 28 recipients from all four branches of the PGGMB School – in Sungai Akar, Kampong Lambak, Madang and Kuala Belait – received their awards from Director of Human Resources at the Ministry of Education Dr Hajah Zurina binti Haji Harun.

The school’s Sungai Akar branch obtained a 100 per cent pass rate in the 2017 PSR exams, while the Madang branch secured a 96.2 per cent pass rate; Kampong Lambak branch obtained a 92 per cent pass rate; and the Kuala Belait branch achieving a 68 per cent pass rate.

PGGMB President Haji Antin bin Ahad and PGGMB Supreme Council members were also present at the ceremony.

The event ended with a recitation of the Doa Selamat and a group photo session.
