JPI concludes 10-day induction programme for officers, teachers

A TEN-DAY induction programme for 23 new officers and teachers at the Islamic Studies Department (JPI) concluded yesterday with a closing ceremony at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girls Arabic Religious Secondary School in Kampong Katok.

Attending the ceremony as the guest of honour was Ustazah Hajijah binti Haji Moktal, the Acting Director of the JPI.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat by Ustaz Mohd Zamery bin Haji Nayan, followed by a welcoming remark from Ustaz Haji Rusli bin Haji Mohd Salleh, the Acting Assistant Director of Corporate Services.

In her speech, Ustazah Hajijah hoped the programme would be continued on a regular basis as a guide towards principles and work ethics in the civil service.

She also advised the participants to apply the positive experiences gained from the programme in their teaching duties.

Certificates, prizes and souvenirs were then presented to the programme facilitators, which included Norhazmie bin Haji Razali as the Best Male Presenter and Nabilah binti Haji Mohamed as the Best Female Presenter.
