THE Muslimah committee of Kampong Kapok Mosque hosted a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony on Friday night, in conjunction with the Israk Mikraj celebration.
Present as the guest of honour was Mosque Affairs Officer of Zone 2A of the Brunei-Muara District Haji Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Yassin.
The event began with a mass Maghrib prayer followed by the recitation of several chapters of Al-Quran by male members of the mosque’s Takmir committee and members of the Muslimah committee.
The ceremony ended with Dikir Marhaban and mass Isyak prayer.
