YMRM Enterprise presented donations to some 300 orphans from Mukim Sengkurong and Kampong Tanjung Bunut during a ceremony at the Mukim Sengkurong Community Hall.
Public Relations Manager of YMRM Enterprise Abdul Hamid bin Abas said the event was part of its annual charity project and corporate social responsibility programme to assist the underprivileged for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri festivities.
Guest of honour former Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Commander Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah along with the founder and Chairman of YMRM Enterprise Ramesh Jiwatram Bhawnani, Executive Director of YMRM Enterprise Hitesh Bhawnani and Penghulu of Mukim Sengkurong Haji Musa bin Haji Tahir presented donations to orphans from Kampong Jerudong, Kampong Sengkurong ‘A’, Kampong Sengkurong ‘B’, Kampong Tanjong Nangka, Kampong Mulaut, Kampong Kulapis, Kampong Lugu and Katimahar and Kampong Tanjung Bunut.
A Tahlil was also recited during the event to remember those who have departed and to bless the occasion, a Doa Selamat was also read.
