THE first-ever travel fair hosted by Pan Bright Travel Service in conjunction with its 35th anniversary turned out to be a success as the company’s travel team members had their hands full attending to the crowd flocking to their booth at the atrium of Times Square Shopping Centre over the weekend.

Pan Bright’s Sales and Business Development Manager Nur Khadijah binti Abdullah extended the company’s appreciation to the thousands of customers who visited their booth and grabbing the travel deals offered throughout the three-day event.

“We would like to say a big thank you to all our valued customers as well as our business partners for their continuous support in making our 35th anniversary and first travel fair a success,” said Nur Khadijah.

Nur Khadijah disclosed that the most popular travel deals purchased were Kuala Lumpur as well as Japan, Korea, Australia and London while popular packages were their Europe, Korea and Japan tours.

Cruises are also getting popular now, said Nur Khadijah, adding that the short cruise from Singapore port to Malaysia and Vietnam on Princess Cruise is gaining popularity from local travellers.

Throughout the three-day event, Pan Bright Travel Service also offered lucky draws for their customers, offering daily prizes of air tickets, cruises, travel vouchers and goodies. The grand prize of five-day Japan/Korea Cruise for two was won by Aezad Makki.

Meanwhile, Hener Langay won a return air ticket to Shanghai with Singapore Airlines and Abbas Omar Dani won a return air ticket to Manila with Royal Brunei Airlines (RB).

“On top of that, we also launched our 5th edition of Travel & Win a Car or Birkin promotion, giving our customers yet another chance to drive home a Hyundai Accent or walk away with a Hermes Birkin Bag as the grand prize or win the other 35 prizes when they make purchases from July 27, 2018 to March 31, 2019.”

While the grand prize was sponsored by Pan Bright Travel Service, other prizes that include return air tickets to Melbourne, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Ho Chi Minh City were sponsored by RB. Return tickets to Tokyo, Seoul, Osaka and Beijing were sponsored by Singapore Airlines while Royal Skies Miles valued from 10,000 to 25,000 were sponsored by Baiduri Bank Berhad.

Also participating in the travel fair were Baiduri Bank and Standard Chartered Bank; both offering deals using their credit and debit cards. Other participants included local tour operators and hotels as well as Ming Garden Hotel Kota Kinabalu and National Insurance for travel insurances.
