CUCKOO International Brunei kicked off a community campaign known as Cuckoo CAREare to provide safe and clean water purifiers.
For its first corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, Cuckoo International Brunei donated a Cuckoo water purifier to the Centre for Children with Special Needs (KACA) at a ceremony held at the centre’s premises in Kampong Kiulap yesterday.
Cuckoo International Brunei Managing Director Wong Kim Guan presented the water purifier to KACA President Dato Paduka Haji Zainal bin Haji Momin.
The handover ceremony saw a signing agreement between KACA President and Cuckoo International Brunei Managing Director.
The managing director said that there are a number of communities in Brunei Darussalam living without clean water and the donation can improve their quality of life, through easier access to clean drinking water.
“Through the establishment of our new CSR initiative, Cuckoo Care, we want to express our gratitude to our community. We believe that our community is entitled to have access to clean and safe water.”
