YANG Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah binti Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah set a new age group record in the women’s seven and over 100-metre backstroke in the 7th Brunei Open and Master LC (Long Course) 2018 at the Swimming Pool of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex yesterday.
Yang Teramat Mulia charted a new time of 2:10:35 in the process in addition to a new personal best in the 50-metre butterfly, 50-metre breaststroke and 100-metre freestyle events.
Yang Teramat Mulia sets a new record of 1:03.12 in the 50-metre butterfly, eclipsing her old mark of 1:05.49 while emulating the same effort in the breaststroke where she sets a new time of 1:06.98, beating her old time of 1:12.59.
Yang Teramat Mulia also sets a new personal best in the 100-metre freestyle when she clocked in at 2:03.08.
