MINI Owners Association (MOA) of Brunei members bagged the top prizes at the Miri Street Autofest 5.0 held in Coco Cabana Marina Park in Miri last weekend.
MOA President Romzi bin Haji Md Yusof was crowned champion in the Retro Car category with his 1964 Mini Moke, while Ramlee bin Haji Yusof took second place with his 1969 Mini Clubman.
Ramlee’s classic Mini also won in the Best Interior category.
Meanwhile, Junaidi bin Jumat and Eddy Nor Zahrin bin Jumat won the top prize in the continental cars category with their Mini Cabrio.
This year’s autoshow gathered automotive enthusiasts from Labuan, Limbang, Bintulu, Kuching and Brunei and over 400 vehicles of various brands were showcased.
The annual event was to strengthen ties among car enthusiasts from Brunei and Malaysia, and at the same time provide a platform for participants to gather and showcase their favourite vehicles.
