LOW-COST airline AirAsia yesterday confirmed that it will be temporarily reducing its double daily flight frequency on its Kuala Lumpur-Bandar Seri Begawan route from July until August this year.
In an emailed statement to the Bulletin yesterday, the airline headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia said it will be operating daily flights on the popular route instead of double daily flights for its Kuala Lumpur-Brunei route effective July 1 – August 31, 2016 “due to capacity management initiatives”.
The airline said double daily flights will resume on September 1, 2016 and are available for booking online at its website.
From July 1 to August 31, 2016, AirAsia will operate flight AK0278 on the Kul-Bwn route departing at 1.10pm and arriving 3.30pm daily, while AK0279 will fly the Bwn-Kul route departing at 3.55pm and arriving at 6.20pm daily.
