FOUR members of the Brunei Darussalam 4WD Association, commonly known as Persatuan Pacuan Empat Roda Brunei Darussalam, will participate in the upcoming 2018 China-ASEAN International Touring Assembly (CAITA).
The 2018 CAITA is scheduled to begin at Lanzhou City, the capital of northwest China’s Gansu Province, tomorrow and will conclude in Singapore on November 19.
A flag handover ceremony was held at The Rizqun International Hotel yesterday.
Deputy Permanent Secretary (Tourism) at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism Wardi bin Haji Mohammad Ali presented the national flag to the
Brunei Darussalam 4WD Association President Pengiran Haji Mohiddin bin Pengiran Paduka Tuan Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar.
The delegation also includes Mohd Putera bin Junaidi as the official, Mazlani bin Haji Mahadi as the driver and Haji Mohd Sufri bin Haji Omar as the assistant driver.
About 80 racers and 4WD enthusiasts from China and ASEAN member countries will participate in the 2018 CAITA, which will see them go through a 20-day long auto rally with challenging routes in China, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
