SEVERAL members of the Tutong Senior Citizens Activity Centre (PKWE Tutong) led by officials from the Community Development Department (JAPEM) in the Tutong District visited Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh King Chin and family during a Chinese New Year (CNY) open house in Kampong Sungai Besar recently.
The visit was a gesture of appreciation for his contribution to the PKWE Tutong building, which was officially launched by Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof when he was the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports on July 10, 2017.
Senior citizens thanked Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh for providing them an opportunity to enjoy their retiring years at the centre.
Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh was also informed that the application to have the building extension was approved and will help the PKWE Tutong to accommodate additional members.
He offered to cover the costs of building the extension and contribute additional health equipment.
