THE nation is all geared up for the 35th National Day celebration with rehearsals to mark the main celebration actively carried out in the capital.
To ensure the event runs smoothly at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin oversaw the rehearsals yesterday.
Themed ‘Menjayakan Wawasan Negara’, the celebration focusses on the achievements of the Brunei Vision 2035 by emphasising the importance citizens and all sectors play in national development.
The rehearsal yesterday saw over 24,000 participants involved in the National Day parade, as well as over 9,000 participants involved in the performances.
