OVER 30 members of Al-Muhtadee Billah Mosque in Kampong Sungai Kebun committee and religious halls and suraus in Zone 1 located in Kampong Ayer and Mukim Lumapas attended a course on prayers for the ill and those with disabilities yesterday.
It was facilitated by Trainee Religious Teacher at Religious Service Unit of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Ahmad Sujaie bin Mudim Haji Metassim.
The workshop highlighted the obligation of performing prayers.
It is in response of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s aspiration to make Brunei a Zikir Nation, to create better understanding in performing prayers for the ill and the disabled, to forge ties with residents in the mosque vicinity and to encourage activities at mosque.
