THE Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof yesterday received a courtesy call from senior delegates from the National Resilience Institute of Indonesia (LEMHANNAS) who are currently here on a working visit.
Leading the delegation from LEMHANNAS, a military research institute based in Jakarta, Indonesia which serves as the main educational and advisory facility for the Indonesian Government in the fields of security and defence was Police Inspector General Drs Harwiyanto.
During the courtesy call held at the office of the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports in Jalan Kebangsaan, the two sides exchanged views on issues closely related to socio-cultural development of communities, as well as discussing ways to enhance cooperation between both sides.

The delegation is here for a five-day working visit to gain better understanding of the development of Brunei Darussalam in areas of politics, socio-economic and law while also strengthening the cooperation between relevant institutions of both countries, according to a statement from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS).
Also present during the courtesy call was Dato Paduka Dr Haji Affendy bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Permanent Secretary at the MCYS.
