The Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) together with Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB) organised the Mahabbah Syawal, the handing over of contribution to families with low income and orphans yesterday.
Some 11 families of KUPU SB students received the contribution comprising necessities to lessen burden especially during Syawal. Fatin Nurul Hafizah binti Haji Abdul Rahim expressed her appreciation for the contribution given to her and family.
The KUPU SB delegation was led by Trained Religious Teacher at the Core Knowledge Centre Haji Manan bin Haji Osman, while TAIB was represented by Deputy Dean of Students Affairs Section of KUPU SB Dayangku Zainab binti Pengiran Haji Tuah.
Lecturers and staff members were also involved in the handing over of the contribution from house to house.
The Mahabbah Syawal is one of the initiatives of KUPU SB to fulfil its responsibility towards the community and country through strengthening the delivery of dakwah and social work.
