In conjunction with the 74th birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Mosque Affairs Department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) through its Muslimah Affairs Division in collaboration with the Tutong District Mosque Affairs Office organised a Ratib Al-Attas recitation ceremony at the Kampong Bukit Mosque, Tutong District yesterday.
Mosque Affairs Officer of Tutong District Haji Masri bin Haji Mohammad was the guest of honour. Also present were officers and staff members from the Mosque Affairs Department, and youth from Tutong District.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by the guest of honour followed by the mass recitation of Ratib Al-Attas led by Kampong Bukit Mosque Youth Group.
A gift presentation from Syarikat De’iyad was also held.
The religious ceremony concluded with the recitation of Doa Allah Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam by Muhammad Jalimi bin Muhammad Solihen.
The event aimed at enlivening His Majesty’s 74th birthday celebration, encouraging Zikir in daily life and instilling affection towards the monarch.
