First year students of Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) received the Mushaf Brunei Darussalam and its translations, which was part of the Public Service Department’s infaq to KUPU SB on August 15.
The handover was held during the MIB Syakhsiah Leadership Programme Ceremony at the KUPU SB Tarbiyah Hall yesterday.
KUPU SB Acting Deputy Ra’es Dr Haji Abang Hadzmin bin Haji Abang Taha handed over the mushaf to the male students, while KUPU SB Acting Assistant Ra’es Datin Dr Hajah Noor Hira binti Haji Noor Kaseh presented it to the female students, witnessed by KUPU SB Ra’es Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar.
Higher Diploma in Religious Education Programme student Muhd Noor Syahmi bin Mazne expressed gratitude, especially to the Public Service Department, for the infaq of the Mushaf Brunei Darussalam and prayed that the presence of the Mushaf will not only be useful as a reference in their studies, but will always be cared for and practised throughout life to achieve worldly success and in the hereafter.
